He's really limited by his inability to stick a jumper.
If he develops a even a decent jump shot, he'll be an all time great lock. He's already one of the greatest athletes the league has ever seen.

What if Shaq developed a 3 point shot?

Re: I
I never was impressed with AntiKempo and never watched him much. Tonight I gave it a try but I didn't notice anything special about him. Leonard dunked on him I think and Leonard is hurt. Antekempo made like one 3 pointer. Even Lebron is better cuz Lebron can bully you in the lane. Just put a decent defender on Antekumpo and he can't drive to the rim.
He's not better than a prime Howard.

Re: I
Bledsoe has been complete ass, standard for him in the playoffs.
Game 4 was a stinker for most of the bucks though.
Giannis at the line is painful to watch

He's a more versatile defensive player and much more capable as a scorer, has some handles and creates more shots for his teammates than Howard did.
He's a lot like mid-2000s Lebron. Not as good at passing but he gets to the line with ease and is almost unstoppable when his teammates make their open 3s.
He's averaging 26/13/5 in these Playoffs in just 33 MPG, those would be peak numbers for Dwight Howard when he played like 40 minutes a night, though he never averaged more than 2-3 assists.
Raptors are built to beat a team like Milwaukee. You got great defensive players in Green and Leonard to stop him from driving and Gasol/Ibaka provide some nice help defense. Giannis has got little help from his teammates in these two road games as far as making 3s go.

I agree, very underwhelming player who only can take advantage of travelling.
He is a good defender though.

Re: I
As a scorer, Giannis definitely needs to improve his offensive repertoire. At his height, he needs to develop a back to the basket game as well as some semblance of a jump shot outside the paint. In this series once the Raptors pack the paint and build a wall he becomes very containable, and several of his kick outs are not particularly planned, but bail out passes as he's gotten caught in the air. Defensively and on the boards he's a beast though. At 24, he's still young and has time to improve.

Re: I
He's a physical beast, but his actual skill level is still pretty raw.
He doesn't have a reliable jump shot, he relies heavily on his strength to bully/stiff arm his way into the lane, and when he is met with resistance, he often travels or even double dribbles which is just as frustrating as watching Haren push off and travel all the time.
He'll be a top tier player for years just because of how freakish he is, but this is his 6th year and the still has a way to go with his shot so it's hard to trust him as a go to guy. Basically he's the kind of star that you have to build the right team around or they will struggle.

That s why I always believed they shouldnt even semi contest his shots...
Wide open shots for a bad shooter = choke.
