Player x might be KCP because he can guard any pg and can hit 3s. Cook might have potential for that role too, but ehh not sold yet on him being anything more than a solid backup

If Lakers land Iguodala, don't be surprised if he takes Kuzma's spot in clutch minutes.

I think though that they'll manage to find a better option for crunch time in the playoffs than anything they currently have.

There is just so much that changes in this league from now until the playoffs that it is silly, imo, to write off the possibility of this team getting that guy I think they currently are missing.

And while I'm skeptical of this team...and we should be...the Green/Lebron/Davis trio is close to perfect. What if Kuzma really thrives next to those guys?

What if they somehow found a way to get Covington from the Wolves? Maybe they flip Kuzma and salary to the Wolves for Tyus Jones/Covington if the Wolves are having a bad year and Kuzma doesn't work...you just never know.

They get to play out the early season and evaluate things starting Dec. 15 and see what they need.
