Through 10 games I'm at about 26-28 minutes per game, averaging 18, 8, 4 on 51%. I had a break out game against Indiana where I went for 28, 12, 8 and got my first A+. Trying to see what I feel like I need to upgrade though. Maxed out my midrange jumper, on-ball defense, lay up and pass. Thinking of buying another signature skill next. Floor general sounds nice!

    Started a big man myplayer.
6'11, 245, all around. Load up rookie game, and my weight has dropped to 230 miraculously. Despite my last name being 'Hood', Harlan continually refers to me as 'McRoberts'.

Get 20/10... but playing with this guy is literally 2-3 times harder than my PG. Get pushed around, get fatigued, get outrebounded despite boxing out, miss shots, get blocked, assists are hard, blocks are hard, steals near impossible.

So I be an idiot in the interviews, and go 17 to Dallas, I'm actually happy with that. I'll back up Dirk/Kaman for a bit and eventually start at the 5 within 10 games or so.

First game is against the Lakers, given how hard it is I go 12 min and All star instead of HOF.
I come on with 4 mins left in the first. I proceed to play the entire rest of the game (40 mins) getting bent over every which way by Howard and Gasol, I end up with 22/10 on 30% shooting and A rating, and losing by 20.
    I played 34 mins at 4 & 5, 4 mins at the 2 guarding Kobe (?) and 1 min at the 3.
I was basically zero fatigue most of the time.

Playing as a big man is much different than a guard. Your best bet is to be the defensive anchor and trashman early on until you develop a better post game or your offensive stats are high enough to be a bigger part of the offense. If you really want to score more, abuse the pick and roll if your pg is great at penetration.

As for being bullied, you just have to deal with it until you increase your strength and rebounding. Get better position and box out properly. Don't just hold the left trigger, react to the the guy's moves so that he doesn't flip positions with you.

Stamina is an issue with big men. I hardly use my turbo and I would get tired easily. I upped my stamina to early 70s and I can handle starter minutes pretty well.

Bumped up the difficulty to superstar. I just violated Dirk with a disgusting facial. 2K didn't let me watch the instant replay.

Anyone know what rating you have to be to get a star icon by your name? Cousins has a star icon and he's rated 83 but I don't and i'm rated 84.

I'm raging vs the Bucks. First time I quitted a game Dalembert, Ilyasova, Mbah a Moute and Gooden grabbing offensive boards like they're playing against 5'2 midgets Ellis doesn't miss, we can't do simple PnR(maybe my fault though), and we can't make open shots I had like 4 TOs in the first quarter

Gonna drop the difficulty to Superstar to lessen the cheese.

I actually just played some games and I finally found flaws in, yes, the IQ of your teammates (oh that's new). Just imagine this:

Game is tied, last possession with 12 seconds left on the clock. Garnett is inbounding from the left side. You are a center with a poor free throw %, but you are wide open beyond the arc. Garnett proceeds to pass it to Rondo who is on the right low block and there are 4 people clearly blocking the passing lane. Immediate turnover.

Ya, that's realistic. It's not just KG, Pierce did a similar thing. He passed to Rondo who was out of bounds for at least a good 5 seconds.

Along with that, 2K is still throwing that "2K karma" at me. Whenever I do something sick like an alley oop dunk or a block, the CPU will miraculously embarrass me in the next possession. Usually it come in the form of the ball sticking to the guy who missed/I just blocked and he scores an easy bunny right afterwards while I'm still stuck in animation.

To end this rant, has anyone experienced the brick wall skill or know of any OP skill? IMO, the former is cheapest skill to abuse in the game. Almost 2 guys become free on offense if the screen is successful.

Any backcourt like last year's Warriors gives any other team headaches. It's been a relatively unknown secret that Ellis and a score first pg will make a ridiculous % of their shots.

I'm playing on the Kings and I think i'm the highest rated player on the team. Demarcus Cousins is 83 where as i'm 84.

I heard that you have to be rated 88 to have a star icon by your name, whether that's true or not I don't know.

Got sick of my power forward.
Created a shooting guard, dropped 25 points in the rookie challenge, got interviewed around 7/8th pick, then Wizards drafted me at 3.

It may be decided by the coach in terms of mins played, regardless of rating.
