This is so stupid. Why is there even a ballot? Just list everyone. As far as I'm concerned, Jason Kidd has been better than John Wall so far. Might have something to do with Wall not having played a game, I don't know.

I myself find the All-star game as a joke and tend to never watch it, but in saying that i don't think fans should be voting, fans tend to be overaly bias and a large sum lack common sense and knowledge on who to pick. NBA experts, media and coaches should pick who are the actual allstars. Letting the fans pick allows for completely non-deserving players (JLin could and most likely will get voted in) to get in which no one wants to see.

The All-Star games is for the fans, not the players. The media, coaches, ect picks the All-NBA team and other stuff.

How can you hate the ASG?

It's a glorified street game, where the skilled players get to show out.

And then when it gets competitive at the end, it gets really entertaining.

Why wouldn't it be for the players? Lots of players strive to be on the All-star team there chance should not be taken away just cause a more exciting/popluar player gets garbage votes

The All-Star games was created for the fans, to show appreciation. Of course, players wanna be all-stars.

Fair enough than maybe do it like this, let the fans pick who they want to play like how they do now and let the coaches pick, media and experts pick who the actual all stars are so even if these guys don't play in the game it goes on there record they are all-stars (the players that don't get picked by coaches, experts and media and purely by the fans should not have it on there record they are Allstars)

That's actually how it's done. Fans pick the 5 (10) starters and the coaches pick the 7 (14) reserves.
