In the context of where that video was filmed, the game was an And1 exhibition game, the dude obviously had no self control and couldn't stand being clowned...
The whole point is to entertain the crowd and show off your skills....FFS, get the ball back and try and cross the professor up in revenge....
But in a normal pick up game, I would consider it really disrespectful if someone tried to do it to me. But I wouldn't fight them, I would D up hard and ask for the ball on offence to score on them repeatedly and talk some smack.

this. plus in the video it just looks like the chinese dude was tired of getting cooked thus the throwing of the ball off his mug was the last straw.

lol if he can do it without you stripping him then you deserve it..... and yea, it's supposed to be disrespectful/show up the the defender. just be alert on D and it won't happen.
