WTF happened to this guy? Not too long ago, he was a beastly defender and finisher at the hoop. Now he's a strtech 4 who can't contain anyone and doesn't get boards.
Kanter is now closing playoff games cos he plays better D. How did it come to this?

Don't know man. Maybe it has something to do with the coaching staff forcing him to focus on other things in practice (presumably his mid range/3 point shot).
But yeah...I've noticed the dropoff. Not sure if it's an effort thing or what. I thought that OKC would develop him into a go-to post offensive threat eventually. He has the athleticism and touch.

He's asked and relegated to a finesse player.
When have you ever seen a big man who's asked to shoot 3's on offense and could still play hard nose defense on the other side?
