got me wondering.. only played 14 mins last year and got injured.. will he still be considered for rookie awards this year?

Completely different. Griffin got injured in preseason.
Randle got injured first game of the regular season.

If you played 1 minute of the regular season than that was your rookie year. Blake didn't play a single minute of what was suppose to be his rookie year..same thing with Oden.
