It's a contract year for Pistons center Andre Drummond.

Wonder if we'll see more from him, beyond the usual inside scoring and dominant rebounding.

He's been really good the past 4 seasons but they've failed to put good offense around him. They shoot a lot of 3s but they don't have anyone great from that distance and they lack a true PG, Blake did a lot of the playmaking last season.

Like Blaze said, he is what he is. He isn't going to average 20+ ppg or do anything crazy offensively but he could win DPOYs with a better roster.

And yes he's getting the max. He's been a consistent 13+ point 13+ rebound guy for the past 6 seasons with barely any games missed at all and he's only 26 years old. They can get some pieces around him and Blake after the 2020 season when Reggie's off the books and Snell's an expiring.

He needs to stop posting up or trying to shoot. He needs to do only three things:

1. PnR with Rose
2. lurk around the rim in high low game from Blakes alley oops.
3. Improve FT shooting to 70%

He can get 20 ppg per game this way without a doubt.

I think it's amazing he improved his FT shooting as much as he did already.

5 offensive rebounds per game is absolute insanity. Probably just needs to make very nuanced adjustments, better decisions on a play by play scale. I don't know if anything needs to change statistically that can be changed.

Its a deep league too with 18 teams. I was surprised I snatched him at 17 and then two picks later I took Miles Turner as my 2nd because its a serpent draft.

In a punt ft strategy Drummond is an absolute monster.
