I honestly don't think you can beat that team.
They literally have the best player from all 5 positions (Shaq is debatable with Kareem, especially if we're assuming everyone is at their peaks).

I don't see any flaws at all. Elite offense and defense.

Actually that team lacks outside shooting if your best outside shooter(3point) is lebron then there is a problem with that team. If current rules apply, then you can construct a team that can beat them.

So what would that team be? The team has great, elite passers and scorers at all positions and you are not stopping them from scoring. And only possible defensive hole is the PG spot, you have MJ and LeBron guarding the perimeter, and Shaq and Duncan in the middle. A Magic, MJ and LeBron fast break will be a definite 2 points everytime.

PG is hard, too. I'd want a big guard. I lean toward GP, but a guy like Steph would be nice. So would Stockton. D Wade at the 1 could be interesting.

Kobe has singlehandedly wrecked many a stacked team by trying to hog the spotlight. I suspect bird won't get a touch and neither will kareem.
They'll sit there waiting all night while a certain 44% career shooter will stay on the perimeter pump faking 3 times before clanking an off-balanced brick - his forte.

The spacing would be ridiculous. They could literally do anything they want and nobody could do a damn thing. Lebron would have so much space to drive and MJ can't be double teamed or else you'd leave Bird and Curry open on the perimeter.

Shaq would more than match any centre who's ever played the game, peak for peak.

I don't see how these guys lose.

Kareem would hold his own offensively against Shaq but I'm not sure he's the best guy you can pick to match up against him defensively. Shaq would be too big, wouldn't he?

As far as picking Pippen goes, it's interesting and seems to be the opposite of what the OP is doing. He picked Magic at point guard despite his defensive weaknesses and I'm worried that picking Pippen would have the same problem. You could give Jordan a harder time on offense but Pippen is a disgrace on offense. 40% in the playoffs for the 2nd 3peat and 39% in the 3 finals at the end.

Would you sacrifice one position on the floor just for a defender? It might work out if you think you could overcome the poor offense.

Me and 4 guys can defeat that team with 2-3zone defence. They can't make a shot outside of 18feet I would smash that team on the fast break dunking on Shaq.
