Doc Rivers said that Al Jefferson won't be traded last night, and Green is also supposedly off-limits in a potential Iverson deal, so the Celtics can probably counted out as Iverson's end destination. May be part of a three-team trade to facilitate the move but that's barely worth speculating over.

Al Jefferson I completely understand, but Gerald Green? It's simple... they don't want AI and they're looking for excuses when they're accused of messing this up. Gerald Green?

Green being off-limits doesn't make me totally unhappy. At 20 years old he's third in the league in 3 pt percentage, he's as athletic as anyone (well, except for LeBron James), he's learning to defend and has shown some brilliant flashes (like that 16-point quarter a few nights ago). He's going to be a good player.
