Great mid range shooter. More players should really do this instead of launching so many 3's. 10-16 feet shots are higher percentage shots.

    CP3 is so underrated.
Led his team to the 4 seed without his 2nd option for half the season.
I hope he continues to shit on everyone and make the Finals just to shut people up.

Absolutely true. But with the advent of advanced stats, it states that the 3 is more logical than a 2. And that inflates the "true shooting pct" of guys who shoot the 3 a lot. After all, you only need to hit 33% of 3s to match the output of someone shooting 50% of 2s. The league is becoming dumbed down right before our eyes. The midrange game, post game and footwork is all going downhill.

Higher percentage but worth less points.

The 3ball is the best shot in basketball. You dont need analytics to see it.

That said team should find more ways to launch more open 3 obviously.

But most of Chris Paul' midrange shots are not that contested because he gets that open look from the screen an roll from Blake/Deandra, etc.

Jordan/Dirk were shooting midrange shots from the post using turnarounds and defenders in their face.

There is a huge discrepancy on the the degree of difficulty on shots.

On that note...only 4.8% of the shots Curry takes are midrange shots compared to 18.4% for CP3.
