I don't even like Harden's game, but I think he has played fine in the first two games. He'd doing a great job facilitating the offense.

You stat nerds can keep pointing at box scores or bringing up irrelevant stats like FG% (seriously, what year is this?) trying to muster up an argument as to why Harden isn't a superstar.
I'll take the 56 Wins, 2nd seed in a historically stacked conference, the MVP trophy and a convincing 2-0 lead against a team many said was championship bound coming into the season.
I mean...if it helps you boys sleep at night then yeah.. Keep your outdated FG% stat, you nerds.
The irony of this one is hilarious

Not really, he's passing well and getting to the line but the sub 40% shooting is not going to get it done. The team is going on the game winning runs without him, basically because the Mavs defense is so terrible and the other players have stepped up.
His subpar games will win the first round, but he better pick it up vs the Clippers/Spurs. I think he will. Nowhere to go but up.

That, and the Mavs may be as bad right now as the 6-8 seeds in the East. They're missing two key pieces in Parsons in Harris; due to Rondo being a major asshat there's some serious chemistry issues within the team; and there's a pretty good chance they're the worst defensive team in the playoffs.
Basically, the Mavs have quite a few personnel issues, and the product they actually put on the court plays defense about as well as five traffic cones.

Where are you getting your % for this year's playoffs? Bballreference says 32%.

Harden is downright brutal to watch. A blasphemous heir to the great SG legacy.
Lets see, from Jordan to Kobe to Wade to.......Harden?

Against Dallas, he can afford to shoot 35%.
But you're right, if they make it to the next round, we need to see January harden.
