[QUOTE]Since arriving in Utah, Quin Snyder has developed a culture of player development and improvement. He has led the Jazz to a 227-183 record which is impressive considering his first season started the year after Utah had one of its worst seasons in franchise history. He helped develop Rudy Gobert into a defensive player of the year winner. He coached Gordon Hayward into an All-Star. He helped Derrick Favors in his transition from power forward to center and through injuries. One of his assistants was even hired as a head coach in Phoenix, Igor Kokoskov. He is credited with polishing diamond in the rough prospects like Joe Ingles and Royce O

The other hypothetical is they could cut both and go after another player. David J. Smith pointed this out the yesterday on Twitter. Back in 2014, the Utah Jazz cut Carrick Felix when some scrub named Joe Ingles became available. Crazier things have happened.
there's some good players available now and with their lack of depth I'd think they'd be looking that way. May be looking to see if they get a waiver claim on someone before deciding on the two left

In short, in head coach Jerry Sloan, the Jazz were getting excellence.
Maybe but you got to wonder what they might have done with others
