Typical non-New Yorker comment. The day at work before the games was always super tense. The games were incredible and now that Garnett and Pierce are on the team, this rivalry had entered a level of its own.

Obviously Bulls will win. They own the Heat in the regular season whereas the Heat owns them when it matters the most.

Actually it's opening day, so I expect the Heat to play hard. They stop trying in the regular season around January until the Finals.

I see why the OP is excited. His team is the ultimate definition of "regular season champions"

Let's just fast forward it to the playoffs already.

We know that these two teams are biting at the bit to go at each other fully healthy

Whoever thinks Heat and Bulls are not a rivalry are in some serious denial. Basically a sign of disrespect, trolling and arrogance.

Rivalries aren't forged over 2 or 3 seasons and a couple playoff series in which one of the teams have won both series 4-1. That's just silly and diminishes what real rivalries like the celtics-lakers are

I didn't know rivalries were based on who's winning.

You would be a fool to think that Bulls haven't been a threat to beat the Heat the last few years barring injury.

Aside from Kobe, Rose is the most exciting player to watch in the league..

    2014 MVP?

    It's possible

His team will be a top 2 seed by years end.

Will really depend how quickly he shakes off the rust when he comes back.
