First, we need to look at the role Burks was serving for the Jazz this year. Burks was a bench scorer, and had an expiring contract. By dealing him, the Jazz were able to shed $11.5 million off the Jazz salary cap this season. Truthfully, Burks' contract was more valuable than his production to the team.

The main reason is because Snyder didn't ike him. Thabo and Neto would be next up. Like Burks they could use those guys so we'll see how that goes. Neto is Rudy's BFF so that complicates that one

Both better than what the Jazz have. They might take some combo of Thabo/Neto/Udoh as depth pieces? Looks like they aren't that deep but maybe they think they are like the Jazz do? It will be important that the starters can get going, especially Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio. That said, I feel like the biggest keys to this game will be ball control and defense. If the Jazz can execute in these two areas, I like their chances of getting on win on the home court.
