First, we need to look at the role Burks was serving for the Jazz this year. Burks was a bench scorer, and had an expiring contract. By dealing him, the Jazz were able to shed $11.5 million off the Jazz salary cap this season. Truthfully, Burks' contract was more valuable than his production to the team.
The main reason is because Snyder didn't ike him. Thabo and Neto would be next up. Like Burks they could use those guys so we'll see how that goes. Neto is Rudy's BFF so that complicates that one

League executives Indiana might look to move one of its point guards. Darren Collison and Cory Joseph roughly split the position and are both in the final years of their deals. The team is high on rookie Aaron Holiday and could want to clear out room for him. – via ESPN
Both better than what the Jazz have. They might take some combo of Thabo/Neto/Udoh as depth pieces? Looks like they aren't that deep but maybe they think they are like the Jazz do? Not sure they need Rubio or Favors. They have TJ Leaf who worked out for the Jazz last year like Mitchell even though he wasn't in the Jazz range.

Any unbiased observer would call that a textbook box out.
If he stood his ground yes. He moved Adams back. Rather that's a flop of not who knows?

It will be important that the starters can get going, especially Donovan Mitchell and Ricky Rubio. That said, I feel like the biggest keys to this game will be ball control and defense. If the Jazz can execute in these two areas, I like their chances of getting on win on the home court.
Live and die with Ricky! What a strategy!
If the Jazz can limit turnovers and continue to play solid defense, I believe that it will come out with win against the Heat on Wednesday.
When have they limited turnovers though?

Don't want to help the Kings or Pelicans. Maybe Detroit needs something the Jazz have?

"The ethos of Utah is kind of the bootstrap mentality, us against the world -- 'We're going to build this thing and we don't care how long it takes,'" Clint Betts, the executive director of Silicon Slopes, said with only a hint of hyperbole. "This is the most beloved Utahn in the history of the state -- already, one year in! We already call him a Utahn! I was here for [John] Stockton and [Karl] Malone. We loved those guys. But he's already surpassed Stockton and Malone in the way he's beloved by this state. And it's because he has embraced this state -- because he loves us."
Don't think so
