I really doubt many felt Brad was actually better than Hakeem.
Not really alot of that was on Hakeem. The way how he acted about his injury was suspect. I mean the guy refused to play and they couldn't find nothing wrong with him.
Brad was 22,10,4 with 57% shooting compared to Dream 22,12,2 with 50% shooting. So clearly Brad outplayed him espec him being leading scorer on 57 win team compared to Hakeem 42 win team.
