Default Re: Can an Uptempo Offense beat the Miami Heat?

The whole "slow the game down and beat them up down low" theory is flawed. No type of system, pace, interior advantage etc can beat the Miami Heat. Were this true, the Lakers with their skyscraper front-line of Gasol/Howard should dominate the Heat... and yet they get their arse kicked every time they play the Heat.

Basically, no matter how you play... fast, slow, moderate pace, physical, finesse, crashing the boards, dirty - none of it matters. The Heat cannot be beaten when they are trying. The Grizzlies and Knicks would be swept in 4 games. Spurs would probably be taken out in 5.
