The film went in the side of the camera.... They would have film in the camera but they would leave the door open so that it wouldn't waste film.
I mean they would broadcast NBA games live, but just leave the camera running and it was not recording.
Once the game had been broadcast, that was it. There was never
film of a lot of games. They did that for years and years.
