Chalmers is a perfect fit to me...defends well, making better passes/recording more assists this season, hits the open 3 and will occasionally make a good drive to the basket when ready.

Have you seen him play recently? He's had a lot of problems so far staying in front of his man. Furthermore at times he had a hard time bringing the ball up the floor (e.g. CP3 and Dragic got several steals). So I wouldn't exactley call that a perfect fit for any team. But you're right his role in this team is different and he's been passing the ball better this year. Still it wouldn't hurt Miami to have a Pointguard that can defend elite Pointguards and committ less stupid fouls.
