:applause: great move, Pelinka. Probably the best free agent you
JR Smith and LA lifestyle seems like a terrible combination.
JR on your basketball team is a terrible combination

In before the "Mike Miller coming out of retirement" press release.

Re: Lakers plan to sign JR Smith once he is released from the Cavs
Jr for the minimum is still a capable roleplayer.
Obsession with a super team is going to be the downfall of today's Lakers team. Kawhi is a load management superstar along with kyrie... you need siakam type young guys that can play 70 plus games. I would have looked at golden state and toronto... you need two stars and capable role players and a 3rd option.
Love lebron James and hes top 7 all time but this makes no sense.
Get Kaminsky as your capable stretch 5
Sign JR and let him know hes a roleplayer
Dont need Korver
Get the best available combo guard available
See if you can get Danny green
Re: Lakers plan to sign JR Smith once he is released from the Cavs
Could be a solid signing for the vet min. You don't need him even as a sixth man. He could be there to bring depth to their bench and spread the floor 5 to 8 minutes per game.

I'd go for Redick instead of Green. He's a much more reliable and consistent shooter.

Put things in perspective. As a Clippers fan, I would’ve been stoked for this kind of free agent signing 15 years ago.
LOLLLLL
Lakers - LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kuzma, one more max slot and a bunch of ring chasers and vets.
Clippers - Lou Will, Gallanari, scrubs, nothing else. JR Smith would be your 3rd best player. #ForeverClippin
Re: Lakers plan to sign JR Smith once he is released from the Cavs
JR Smith would make a good vet off the bench. The Henny God cant stopped.

The Lakers just signed their fall guy. Getting heaps of praise now, but when the games start:roll:
