Atlanta definitely. Charlotte. Magic - depending on how much they give Dwight Howard and if they resign Milicic. Thats the first one i could think of. |
Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
Chicago is slightly below the cap.
Do you think MJ and bobcats will take a run at Vince to boost ticket sales? |
Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
it was my understanding that MJ doesnt like Vince, or perhaps just doesnt like his game. Either way, if Michael isnt a fan i dont know if they would go for him.

Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
Quite a pool .. of talent there. Teams in need have plenty to choose from.
Toronto should (and I beleive will) make a run at either Gerald Wallace or else Kapono/Nocioni. They've a hole to fill in the SF position.. and they would prefer someody who plays some hard-nosed D, gustle up a bit.. and most impotantly throw himself for some rebounds. Jersey.. will do themselves a huge favour if they can somehow re-sign Carter .. or else just shift RJ to SG (big downgrade from Carter.. but what the heck) and add, maybe, Bonzi Wells to their weak weak front court. Bonzi, as SF, will end working more down low.. and help out Kristic big time. Also.. a Darko won't hurt. |
Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
Of all of them, I'm really curious as to where Gerald Wallace ends up. He had a great season this year and could help out a lot of teams.

Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
And I'd rather see Vince in Orlando than in Charlotte. HE would fit much better in that team. And yes.. Orlando does need a PG upgrade.
Dunno much about Charlotte's ticket sales.. but Vince guarantees boost in sales... MJ may not like him.. but fans love him. |

thnx
interesting to see what bucks and magic will do pretty much make or break their team this offseason |
Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
Bucks, actually, happen to have all their options open. They have salary cap, a high pick.. and a couple of young future all-stars (or .. all-star calibre atleast) and their franchise player and go-to-guy is already locked in. I think they're in teh most favourable position.
|
Re: List of NBA Free Agent in 2007
Bucks won't have much space. Maybe 7-8 million. I think one of the most likely scenarios is that they make a small non-impact signing, and then re-sign all their own guys.
Good list, but I think Charlie Bell's best position is PG, and he actually ranks pretty high up on the PG list. I'd put him tied at third with Steve Blake. |
