JR Smith ONLY warned for untying Marion shoe lace

Quote:

The NBA warned New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith about the shoelace stunt he pulled on Dallas' Shawn Marion on Sunday, a league source confirmed Tuesday. Smith untied Marion's shoelaces during the second quarter of the Knicks' 92-80 win over the Mavericks. The NBA issued a warning, which was first reported by the Bergen Record and the New York Post.

Should have been fined. Disgusting.

That didn't stop him from trying again tonight on Monroe

Did they ever fine/warn Wade for this in the playoffs? Doubt it. Reminded me of this moment though. :oldlol:

That didn't happen during a play though. That shoe was just in the way...meanwhile the other guy was going to shoot his freethrows which could've resulted in a 10 second violation in the line.

I would love for the NBA to ban this clown. This guy is a loser in this league. He really is a disgrace to the game.

He tried to to it to Greg Monroe tonight, it's his signature move according to him on twitter.

Well he just did it again tonight, so it looks like a fine is coming. Seriously, this dude would be gangbanging if he wasn't in the NBA. This dude is making Rodman look good right now.

He didn't try to untie Monroe's sneakers, they were busting on him and he made the motion joking. Stupid none the less, but he didn't do it nor try to do it. That's just false.
