Re: Bulls Wave Andrew Bynum after trading Luol Deng
Haven't heard any news of Miami cutting Roger Mason Jr. This means the only way the Heat get Bynum now is straight up waiving one of their guaranteed contracts, or trading someone like Joel Anthony/James Jones for picks/cash.
Given the way this team stresses loyalty, and the semi-bad publicity they got in amnestying Mike Miller, I'm doubtful on Miami's chances of getting Bynum.
Re: Bulls Wave Andrew Bynum after trading Luol Deng
IMO Bynum shouldn't get anymore chances at a job in this league.
This kid is a certifiable a-hole.
Bynum would be the biggest idiot if he didnt join Miami
Miami also would be the biggest morons if they didnt sign him

Whatever happened to Greg Oden?
Re: Bulls Wave Andrew Bynum after trading Luol Deng
Greg Oden is still a roll of a dice. We still don't know how much he can play after the all star break is when we should find out whether to keep him for the playoffs or cut him. Bynum would also be a roll of the dice but slightly less injured since he did play reg season games even though he has had pain issues like Oden. Miami only plays no more than 9-10 guys in the rotation in any given game. They really need to move guys they never play like Joel Anthony/James Jones.

Oden + Bynum against Hibbert + West

'The Bulls are sending two-time All-Star Luol Deng to the Cavs for Andrew Bynum, three future draft picks and major salary savings........'
"What was unusual about this, unique about this was the Andrew Bynum contract," Bulls executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson said. "The fact that we get him in the deal and obviously we will waive him, it gives us tremendous financial flexibility moving forward. The thing that we are assured of in talking to [Bulls chairman] Jerry [Reinsdorf] in going through this process is that the things that we benefit from financially, we are going to, in the future, put back into this basketball team."

I heard on NBA tv earlier that they waived him so fast they won't even have to pay his salary this year.
They saved $20 million with that deal. And insulted Bynum to boot :lol

So we can let the other team get the lead again?
