Yeah that's not bad if you're the Knicks.

Pretty good deal (for the Knicks) 4 years for 24.7 million I'm sure he could have got more elsewhere. He put up comparable numbers (on a playoff team) to Tyreke Evans who is getting nearly double that offered to him.

At the price paying for JR Smith, this is a great deal. In a couple of years, he's still a tradeable asset if they want more cap space in 2015.

Compared to what scrubs like Landry, Redick, Korver are getting it's a solid deal.

It's the most Knicks could pay JR with the Early Bird rights. Thank god, because we know Dolan would have paid JR $12 million a year if he could.

Very good deal. I thought he'd get 8-9 mil but 6 was the maximum amount the Knicks could offer. Manu was given 7 mil per year :oldlol: the Knicks just got a "steal".

He's a goner. Knicks blew it when they signed him last year. Should have locked him into 2 year minimum deal. Grunwald Fcked up.

Makes me feel world's better about Jamal's deal last summer, and JJ this summer.

What's NY's depth chart as of now? Not including pending possible returning FA's like Copeland?

I am absolutely befuddled that a washed up Manu gets paid more per year than the reigning 6th man of the year in his prime.

It's not about faith, it's about science.:lol The science of the CBA. Knicks simply don't have the exception to outbid the teams that want him.
