Mavs keep beating the Rockets
 

This was Dallas’ ninth straight victory over Houston. It’s the Mavericks’ longest active winning streak against any team.

Along with his big block of James Harden with 1:05 left, Elton Brand finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds. It is his fourth double-double of the season and 400th of his career.

Brand, 33, was asked if that play proves he is more athletic than many might think.

“I think so,” Brand said with a laugh.
