Also, this puts me on Freeland watch. He is the first Blazer off the bench even though he has made 1 fg in his NBA career thus far (6.3fg%). :facepalm

Why didn't Olshey sign ANYONE in free agency to come off the bench, guys like Barbosa, Terrance Williams, Josh Howard were available at one time. Utah ended up with Randy Foye on a 1 year/3 mil. deal. I'm sure he would have signed with Portland at that price or a little bit more given he might have even more playing time.

Nope, it's pretty irrefutable. Deron's trying to play through injuries & it's messed his shot up something drastic. He needs to look to drive a lot more than he has been.

Meyers Leonard has been extremely active offensively as well. If we're to win, we need to establish Brook on the block & use his offensive game to open things up. No silly fouls, Brook.

The only thing I can figure is that Olshey wants another lottery pick, so doesn't see the point of signing a stop gap that puts us in worse lottery positioning.

You would think Nets having all the talent they need. But they simply are not good. Missing some X-factor, I guess. I mean they are sooo average... I like Blazers more on this game.
