Mayo is playing awesome so far, but I think he'll level off. Dude is jacking up almost 6 threes a game and shooting 59% from three, he can't keep that up all year I assume.

Nevertheless, I'm glad he's doing well.

Maybe he will be the first player to not level off and shot over 60% from three in a season. It's possible.

I agree 60% is pretty much impossible to sustain, but I don't think 45-50% is out of the question. He is shooting with so much confidence right now and he'll only get better looks once Dirk comes back to take the pressure off him

Its not always about looks. Its about rhythm as well. And where you're getting your shots from. That might all change with Dirk back in the team. Seems like current circumstances are perfect for him. 60% from threes is ridiculous, and even average for most players in practice.

Goes to show what the right situation can do for a player. If he had stayed in Memphis, he would have been buried on that bench.
