Mcadoo, Arizin, and Dwight are probably the only ones left who were arguably the best in the NBA at any point. Well durant too since people did make that case.

But really. My vote is Paul Arizin. When he retied, he was still droppin 22 a game and was an all-star. He was an All-Star with George Mikan and Joe Folks. Was an All-Star with Neil Johnston and Ed Macauley and was an All-Star with Jerry West and Hal Greer. |

Re: #45 NBA Player Of All-Time According to InsideHoops
my vote is for Nate
at 46 I'll pick Hayes, followed by maybe Rodman (again, no clue where to place him...he's a role player so he'll go in first in that regard, but it's tough to place guys who weren't first options or defensive anchors, even if they were super-duper role players); any chance Artis Gilmore gets some mentions soon? it'll be interesting to see if any other current players make it into the top 50...Pierce/Allen seem to be the most likely, but I think CP3, Dwight, KD really should get more consideration, since all three guys have had some sort of argument as the best player in the league at some point recently (not so much as the guys voted in already, but their names HAVE been thrown around over the past five seasons) |

The last guys I'd say deserve to get a top spot are Greer, Pierce, Allen and Arizin. All of these guys were 10 time all stars, good players and had great longevity. Greer was probably the worst of these guys and Arizin was probably the best

Re: #45 NBA Player Of All-Time According to InsideHoops
I love Dennis Rodman as much as ... he loves himself, but when did he become a top 50 player?
Do you realize voting him in at #45 basically means he was a top 35 player around the time the NBA 50 Greatest Players list was coming out.' Yet, he wasn't even talked about as one of the snubs a la Bo McAdoo or Dominique Wilkins. Rodman is outside the top 50. |
