The only player I'd want from the Knicks is Tyson Chandler. He's actually been a pivotal player on a championship team.

IF NY get to have a big 3, then here is more so called "big 3's".
Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Khris Humphries
Hibbert, West, Granger
Kidd-Gilchrist, Biyombo, Kemba Walker
In terms of impact, the two bigs stars are actually the ones who used to be overrated (no longer though since being on the Knicks has put a target sign on their back, they're clearly elite players...) while Tyson Chandler was the underrated one.
His play may not be as eye-pleasing, but it is extremely meaningful. He rebounds, anchors a defense, doesn't fumble passes, and brings tons of intangibles to the table like good communication, energy, leadership, and a team first attitude.
Not only do advanced stats paint him as a top center in the NBA, but he is immensely respected around the league, which is why he was selected as part of the US Olympic Team and why Dirk mainly credited his presence for his championship.

You should focus more on passing on MJ's and choosing cripple players in the draft.

Mello is by far a top 10 player in the league.
Amare is a top 20
Chandler is a top 10 C
All 3 have made All Star team
I would call that a Big 3

Amare ain't top 20 anymore, Melo is top ten and being top ten C doesn't mean much.
If NY has a big 3, then like 15 teams have a big 3. Lol

Name 15 teams that have that.
This big 3 crap is stupid. It's just another lame-assed Stern-era marketing ploy that doesn't have any real validity.
It's the same nonsense as adding a third All-Nba team.
The same nonsense as rewarding mediocrity by having an extra round of playoffs with undeserving 7th and 8th seeds, and sometimes undeserving 6th seeds.
Any true contender is going to have positive-sum players who successfully mesh their skills.
Do the Knicks have that? What teams do?
Bryant, Nash, Howard
James, Wade, Bosh
Westbrook, Durant, Harden
Parker, Duncan, Manu
Johnson, Williams, Lopez
Bynum, Holiday, Turner
Granger, Hibbert, West
Rose, Deng, Noah
Paul, Griffin, Butler
Garnett, Pierce, Rondo
Randolph, Gay, Gasol
That's 11 I'd take over NY's trio any day. Quit overrating your shit team, they haven't done shit with that trio.

Some of these are a joke. Did you really list Evan Turner?
Derrick Rose is about to miss the whole season as well.
And what about the other 4 teams? You said 15 teams at least.
Bryant, Nash, Howard, Gasol - Big 4
James, Wade, Bosh - Big 3
Westbrook, Durant, Harden - 3 but not one is big :D
Parker, Duncan, Manu - Old 3
Johnson, Williams, Lopez - 2 and a half
Bynum, Holiday, Turner - Big 1
Granger, Hibbert, West - No one
Rose, Deng, Noah - Big injuries
Paul, Griffin, Butler - Big Flop
Garnett, Pierce, Rondo - Big 2 old and 1 new
Randolph, Gay, Gasol - Big 2 and a Gay

I would say Amare is still boardline TOP 20. THe mix of Mello,Amare just hasn't completely evolved yet.IF you say there are 10 PF over Amare I'm finished talking.
Some would say Mello is TOp 5.
I would say its a wash between Chandler and Bosh

K? Why can't you idiots realize those trios were far more succesful then the dysfunctional garbage that's Melo/Amare/Chandler. Just a terrible combo. A ball hog PF and SF, and offensively difficient center; none are great play makers, Melo/amare are terrible defenders, amare is a garbage rebounder and shot blocker who also has injury problems and most importantly, this trio hasn't achieved anything worth speaking about.
Yet you dipshit have the audacity to insult other trios who are far more cohesive and have achieved more.
K ****** ass knick fans.

LMAO
Half of the posters on here have such worthless lives that they spend their time ripping on a team 'they don't care about', on an online forum, gutless ****s.
The 'Big 3 term' was given to them by the media, not self appointed. But anyway keep wasting time of your pointless existence hating on the Knicks:lol
