I actually think this thread is worse than the championship one. OP was countingon this being the GOAT starting line up. Uber epic fail

Expectation - champion
Reality - finalist
Yes a disappointment or a failure, but not a huge one, they were 2 wins away from making the expectation a reality.
Expectation - an all time great champion
Reality - first round exit
One of these failures is greater than the other.

Re: Has there ever been a starting lineup as flawlessly built as the current lakers?
I see a lot of people in here laughing.
Can anyone tell me how many total minutes this starting five played together?
Nash
Kobe
Metta
Pau
Howard
Were those minutes under their first coach, second coach, or third coach?
How many minutes did they played together when healthy?
They played 189 totals minutes together. Not all those minutes were under one coach. 0 total minutes when they were all healthy. Instead of laughing, us basketball fans should be disappointed, because we missed out on a hell of a team to watch if not for injuries and Jim Buss making the worst series of coaching mistakes I've ever seen.

I turned on my Windows 7 drive and this thread was on the browser.
Bump for the memories.

No we didn't. Neither Kobe or Dwight were willing to take a backseat for the betterment of the team. They spent an entire season not trusting each other and ruining team chemistry to the point this team came close to missing the playoffs. Hell of a team? More like a hell of a circus.
