Novak is exceedingly limited, but his advantage over JR is that he isn't an active detriment.
The Heat might as well get JR a jersey.

peja looked even worse against the heat last year.

the Spurs had a choice of keeping either Matt Bonner or Steve Novak during the offseason. They are both the same type of player. thankfully Bonner learned how to pump fake-side step-dribble-take 3 steps-shoot the jumper this year. :lol

Can you change your name to Metta World Durant? Because youre up there with MWP's ability to make yourself look absolutely worse everytime you utter a word.
if he not gettin open for 3s he sucks. at leas korver can move w/o ball use screens and decent d. novak one of worse ball handlers and cant do anything but 3s. am i wrong:confusedshrug:
Agreed. I have been very disappointed in his play.
No wonder he has such a high 3pt shooting %. A lot of guys would shoot 47% if they only shot the ball when they were--------------------------THIS WIDE OPEN!
He has been shockingly bad this series. No heart.
Two weeks ago he was your god..lol dum shyt ny fans
You are right. He only makes 100% of his open three's. Completely useless. I wouldn't want him.
#Hopethatworks
too bad he can't get open
I dont know much about his game but a good 3 point shooter has a place in any team. Just look at Peja last season. The dude had a great prime but when he was in mavericks he was way past that. The only thing that made him an asset was his shooting. In everything else he was relatively below average, especially on defense. Which was the reason why he barely played in the finals. But there is no question about how important he was during that playoff run.

it's not that he was WIDE OPEN during the regular season ... because he wasn't, and I could bring out the numbers and the diagrams to show you that he wasn't, but it'd be easier if you'd just believe me that he wasn't.
the heat close out half a second faster than a normal team and that half second is enough to take away a clean look for him.
peja had the exact same problem last year and you're not going to tell me peja wasn't a great shooter.
also, the knicks have just had poor ball movement and no one to collapse the defense (except melo ... but that's a whole other matter). i more or less expected this problem.
if novak were on a team like the heat who have lebron and wade who both attract so much defensive attention, he'd be killing it right now.
:lol
goatvak
allstar 3 point champion
hes gonna kill it
probably hit all his shots being so wide open
