Why? How many players have 3 MVPs in history? Who else was better than Moses in the late 70s to early 80s? Dr J and Kareem were his equal, but not necessarily better. Magic and Bird hadn't reached their peak years yet.

??
Mikan > Wilt > Kareem > Bird/Magic > Jordan > Shaq > Lebron
I think that LeBron has held the torch as best player since 10', and still has it today. Durant had one good year, but hasn't done much since (not really his fault). As for who can take it and when, I think within maybe even next season Durant could officially take it if he can put together another great season and won the title. But if LeBron continues his finals runs unimpeded, and no single player actually takes the league over, he'll have the title for a few more years.
Kobe was never the best player in the league...how adorable that stans actually believe this. He literally has an MVP because he had been around 10 years or so in 08 and people felt sorry for him. He should do the right thing and drive that trophy over to CP3's house and hand it to him.

Kobe was the best individual player from at least 05-09 roughly. Individual dominance til 08 then the two titles.
If he's gonna drive over to CP360 then is Nash driving over to Kobe for the 05 or 06?
