As it stands jordan is the only player in the top 10 with three straight first round exits.

They'll have to pass Wade and Kobe first, who also failed to advance to the second round for three straight years in their prime. Once they pass those guys and enter the top 10 all time, then only Jordan stands in their way in that category.

It's a massive challenge, we'll see if any of these younger players are up for it.

mj is probably the only top 10 player to go to a legit lottery team with no other additions and MAKE the playoffs his first year

most guys like Durant, LeBron, Giannis, Curry, etc get a few years to season before making the playoffs as higher seeds than the 8 seeds that rookie MJ had.. Mj's rookie overachievement (making the playoffs), hurt him by getting him the 8 vs 1 seed against a goat team
