He only played 1 year (rookie) in Seattle. His current state and success belong to OKC.

The hawks team is surprisingly good and we could have Lou Hudson as a 6th man.
People forget about how good this franchise was in the 60s and 80s
****in Celtics man

Doesn't Bernard King got to be on there tho? And I can't really say Patrick, great as he was, is taking Willis Reed's starting spot. When his legs were good Reed was arguing with Walt Frazier about who's the greatest Knick ever. 4 Finals in a row
Carmelo has to play some alpha dog role that doesn't really exist but he thinks it does. He has to be #1 and everyone around him be role players or he pouts, sulks and even gets coaches fired. He can't modify his game to match his teammates.. and the poor guy just isn't good enough to play the role he chose for himself. There's lots of Knicks I'd rather have than him, great skillset though he does have.

When Ewing's knees were good he was fighting with prime Hakeem and prime Robinson as the best center in the NBA. Ewing is the better player.
But, Reed can play PF and, with Ewing, he should play PF.
PG Rose
SG Jordan
SF Pippen
PF Rodman
C Noah
I was considering Artis Gilmore or Tom Boerwinkle at C but Noah gives me an athletic team that can fastbreak. Horace Grant at PF would also be a good option but my starting 5 defense is insane (Rose is not as bad as y'all think)...
Beat me to it.:applause:
well if i get no bench. then i assume i would have to pick based on how many minutes they could play, durability, offense, defense, how they play with foul trouble
so i guess
C- Wilt ( played every minute )
PF- Russell ( nearly played every minute )
SF- Baylor ( tough as nails, nearly played every minute )
SG- Kobe (toughest player of all time, plays through anything, can and wants to play every minute )
PG- Iverson ( second toughest player all time, plays nearly every minute )
Nash
Majerle
Marion
Barkley
Hawkins
Not the most talented team but wow this team will be fun to watch. Bunch of unselfish guys, versatile defenders in the frontcourt, can run and gun all day.

Those guys are on different franchises... though OP didn't really say that, did he.
Tim Hardaway
Dwyane Wade
LeBron James
Chris Bosh
Alonzo Mourning
That 5 man unit would be EPIC defensivly. :oldlol:
