OKC isn't coming out of the West this year

Spurs, Grizzlies, Nuggets and Clippers just look so much deeper

Deep is not that important in the playoffs.

They still a good chance but they stayed the same/got slighly worse from last year while all those others teams got better.

They really miss James Harden. However, they still have Durant and Westbrook which is a nightmare for teams. Durant is going to have to carry this team on his back to get out of the West.

I still think they will, but it's a bit more up in the air to me than I would have thought going into the season. I think the Grizzlies trading Rudy Gay is going to hurt them a lot in crunch time of close games. OKC still too athletic and young for the Spurs, I think the Clippers and a dark horse of the Nuggets could possible take them out.

It is for HCA. OKC will not beat the Clipps, Nuggets or the Grizz w/o HCA. Spurs maybe because that team has no athletes and relies way too much on 3s

Championship coming.

Durant had to play like certified 100% angus BEAST for them to reach the finals last season. Can he repeat the feat?

They don't beat LA or SA w/o Harden though. He sucked in the Finals but they wouldn't have been there without him. Their depth is just not good enough for a Finals run IMO

Yup. OKC depends on Kevin Martin to fill in Harden's shoes (Which has a 5% probability) and Durant beasting again through the entire playoffs.

Not if they play the Heat. But because of the curse, them getting to the finals is guaranteed now.

You know, the more and more I see us play good teams on the road in the regular season, the more and more I start to think 2nd round exit. I hate to think and say it, but we've been really bad on the road against good teams lately. Only Durant and Westbrook show up, everyone else shits their pants, and the 4th quarter crunch time offense is Durant and Westbrook taking shots while everyone else stands around and watches. We get by on talent against the bad teams -- and we do ore than just get by because we kill them by 20+ -- but on the road against good teams we aren't getting the job done. It's a combination of bad coaching and the role players playing like ass.

We'll need HCA to reach the Finals again, and seeing as how it's looking more and more likely we'll finish 3rd in the West (we'll lose in LA to the Clippers on Sunday, book it), that means 2nd round exit. I've tried to remain optimistic about the team, but I've lost almost all hope. I'm going to hold out a little bit until the playoffs actually get here, though, because we stumbled a bit down the stretch last year, too.

Whenever I watch a Thunder game it seems like Durant and Westbrook are the only players on that team. Any time they're both on the bench, the other team goes on a crazy run. They're a good team but they have no depth compared to teams like the Heat, Spurs, Clippers, Nuggets, etc..

Only 24% of the Spurs points come from three pointers...That's the same rate as the Heat. They're not entirely dependent on the three-ball like the Rockets(30%) or Knicks(33%).
