The Heat have zero chance at a title they way they are built.

All the scoring by either Wade or LBJ in the 4th, that'll get you only so far and honestly, Indiana should've won today but regardless, the Heat as a team aren't very good, it's 3 very good players and a bunch of crap. LBJ, Wade and Bosh can only do so much, the scrubs gotta contribute with more than just hustle:facepalm Again, you can get away with that vs the Pacers of the world but not against Boston, OKC, Spurs etc...

Cant really do that when Lebron and Wade command the ball so much.. they dont play like a team.

If you were to put this team up against teams in international, real basketball, rules where shooting and playing team ball are the most important things they would get slaughtered.

They win because Lebron and Wade can live at the line. Plus those guys won't get in foul trouble. Tough to beat a team that can find a rhythm from the line

That's why they were two wins away from it last year, right? :facepalm When Wade and LeBron get going and their intensity is there, this team is very hard to stop.

Heat are one of the best 3 point shooting teams in the league with Miller, Chalmers, and Battier in the 3 point line but it seemed like today was not their day. I think it just goes to show you how much better the Heat are than the Pacers which is why I said the Heat will win the series in 4-5. I would say today was probably the Pacers best chance but they blew it due to lack of offensive weapons.

The Indiana Pacers are like the Denver Nuggets on steroids.

I basically made this thread to remind the Heat bandwagon fans that it takes a TEAM to win it all, this 3 man team doesn't have a chance, against the Knicks or Philly or Indy they can get by, but not the elite teams.

1 of 8 teams left, up 1game in the series...I'd think they would have more than "zero chance" at bringing it home

I agree with this. They are extremely top heavy. But it is what it is, them being top heavy is their strength while other teams having better contributors are their strength.

2 wins, 1 win ,7 wins...it don't matter, they fell short and will do so again this year, book it. They aren't very good as a TEAM, it's 3 v 5 and as you get deeper in the playoffsm, you face better TEAMS. The Pacers are not an elite team, they are a very good well rounded team with no elite player and they can't close out games, they couldn't last year vs Chicago and they won't this year vs Miami. They'll battle you to 6 hard fought games but the Heat will prevail but they fall to a team that can close them out.

It took one of the most remarkable playoff runs in history to beat them. Dirk played out of his mind, every guy on the Mavericks roster lit it up, and LeBron played like absolute shit. Do you honestly believe that something like that would be possible again? No. The Heat can beat every team left in the Playoffs, and if Wade and LeBron consistently play at a high level like they did last year in the Playoffs, I see them winning it all.

They have the best chance at winning. Now it is just a matter of Lebron pussying out or not in the big game.

I don't think their bench and role players are that back tbh, more of an issue that they don't get a chance to get involved in the game because of the coaching style of letting wade and lebron do anything they want on offence.
