Who was better?
Lebron easily.
The guy who was wining 66 games with a core of Mo Williams, Delonte West, Big Z, and Varejao
lebron more efficient
kobe more skilled
both great production.
but that was the year kobe set the all time single game 3 point record and had 2 entire months averaging 40+ppg
9 straight 40 point games

Kobe had a 13 game stretch that year where he scored 551 points..
1st Team All-NBA
1st Team All-Defense
3rd MVP Voting.
League Ranks:

LeBron. That ecf.
9 40+ point games was super impressive. T4 longest streak in league history. I'm inclined to say LeBron, but that was a great, great regular season by Kobe.
Kobe.
I'm going with Kobe.
The only argument people bring up to say Lebron is better than Kobe is that regular season record. Which is a team record.
Kobe had a great year. Kobe.
One thing people tend to forget is that Kobe's regular season's peak is better than Lebron's. Lebron is consistent during the regular season but Kobe has a better peak.
Kobe was unstoppable that year
Kobe was unstoppable that year
Most of the years.

Problem sir?
LeBron easily
While I'm still prefer 2008 Kobe for his best all-around season, I feel like 2003 gets overlooked. He was really damn good that year. But better than 2009 LeBron? LeBron was just unreal in 2009 and I still think it's closer to his 2013 season than probably most other people.

Like many people that say Lebron, you still didn't give a reason why and nobody has either. We brought up why Kobe was better.
Most people will bring up his regular season wins that year which is a team accomplishment.
Lebron did nothing remarkable that year.
To be fair, LeBron 09 season was pretty impressive but Kobe 03 is still far better and its not even close.. Most of LeBron stats came from statspadding against weak team = not legit/not impressive while Kobe came from hardwork = impressive/legendary/legit and its against competitive team..
Problem sir?
Its funny when you write something and you don't agree with it yourself.
LeBron:
MVP
All nba first team
All nba defense first team
2nd in scoring
8th in assist
8th in steals
14th in double doubles
3rd in field goal made
Kobes. 9 straight 40pt games. Doubt anyone besides the next Kobe/Jordan type player ever does that. Also Kobe's was pre handchecking rules. Not that thats important, but hey.
The one that was an MVP.

9 straight 40 point games were nice, but he wasn't a better player. Come on. I didn't even like Lebron at the Cavs, but I'm not blind like some of the people on here.

1. You don't like Kobe
2. You're a Heat fan.

That was my fav reason for that season.
First Team All NBA
First Team All Defense
30ppg 7reb 6ast...All Round while still being the most exciting scorer in the game. Doin shit during the season that only GOAT Jordan has done? Breaking 3pt made in a game record?
You cant go wrong with either choice. Only someone who hates the other player would laugh at either selection. Brons year was dope aswell.

Lebron was better because he played better in the playoffs.

Can't wait to hear how Kobe's is better.

It's funny how you act like a whiny little bitch every time someone disagrees with you.
The obvious answer is LJ.

Bron was first team all NBA and all defense as well.
Bron was MVP.
Bron won 66 games.
He was sitting out 4th quarters that season, so his stats could have been even better.
He had a great playoffs.
And hes simply a more impactful player.
Kobe is great, but his peak wasn't something to be put against the top players. Hes great due to his consistent great play over the years.
I can't take anyone seriously when they say they'd take Kobe over Lebron first in a draft, knowing what we know now.

66wins in the East? Lol....But hey, we can agree to disagree. Cant go wrong with either. Its wat you prefer mostly I guess. Not getting into one of those long ass (i aint got no life) debates.
Also, I ****s wit the year 09' aswell because thats wen Kobe beat the Magic (who beat Lebron). Kobe 40-8-8 in game 1 was a fun game to watch.

You won't get into a debate cause you would obviously lose. Everything points to LJ being better. Stats, record, and playoffs performance.

'09 Cavs vs the East: 40-12
'09 Cavs vs the West: 26-4
Lebron AVERAGING 39-8-8 vs the Magic was pretty fun as well.

This.
I'm not even a fan, and the answer is quite easily LeBron.
