The way Lebron plays the game, he's officially on Jordan's level now. He seems to be just toying with his competition, effortlessly destroying his competition.
The first quarter shows how good Lebron is compared to Durant.

I think the comparisons are old. I honestly care very little about who would win a one on one match and all of that.
I haven't seen enough of LeBron to judge. But something I do notice is that he'll be 13/17 for 34pts in a win and 13/17 for 34pts in a 15pt loss. A guy with his all universe talent should at least go down shooting in my opinion.
Agreed. He just needs the championships now. At least 5 more...ouch.

Not even close.
He is not even at Birds level btw. let alone MJ.
MJ's level is 32.5 / 8 / 8.
Larry Bird's level is 30 ppg 10+rpg double double.
LBJ is definitely playing unbelievable but 27 ppg isnt exactly 30 ppg or 32.5 ppg.
MJ > Bird > LBJ
lebron has a ways to go b4 he hits the goat convo, but right now, best player in the league by a mile and for years

That is agreed without a doubt.
But He is NO prime peak Bird.
He is NO prime peak MJ.
Just look at the stats of Bird & MJ at their physical peak. Both had better than LBJ stats.
Took him what? 10 seasons to play near MJ's level? :applause:
MJ was dominating since his early years.

Ok buddy. Now turn on your tv and go watch the game. You know, the hate goes old sometimes. Just let it go and watch top3 player all time playing the best bball in his life. You are missing history, thats what you are doing, and 3-4 more haters on this forum. And thats sad. If you couldnt watch Wilt and Russell, heck even Jordan and Bird, than take the opportunity to watch Lebron and stop hating already.

I concur with this post.

I agree with that.
If he were, it'd be leading to rings and FMVPs. Plural. Let's see.
With the squad he has around him right now, there's no excuses.

Bird isn't worthy of lacing up LeBron's sneakers. Enough with this overrating of past players. Only one of them was as good as/better than LeBron, and that would be Jordan.
LeBron crushes Bird easily. He is the second greatest player to ever play the game.
Bron is beasting but he's older/been in the league longer than Durant
He is scary. Consistently dominating more now. He has the occasional choke in the 4th, but they are fewer now.
I do think if OKC finishes with a better record than MIA Durant should win it based off team wins and stats.

damb faaaak.
Bird has 5-6 seasons of 25+ ppg double double.
Bird as 3 seasons of almost 28-30 ppg double double.
Bird is still the best SF to ever play the game.
LBJ is all time great but he aint beating Bird at anything yet.
Just check LBJ stats & Bird Stats. you'll know.
we'll talk LBJ vs Bird when LBJ actually wins 3+ rings.
GOAT SF talk is still premature. Bird is by far the greatest.
Agreed. He just needs the championships now. At least 5 more...ouch.
And 5 more Finals MVP's, and 2 more MVP's, a DPOY award, and 9 more Scoring titles, and 5 more All-defensive 1st teams, and 5 more All-NBA 1st teams, and.... an NCAA title.
Then we can have a discussion.
I love it when people say stuff like "You can't say that now...let's wait until he wins some more rings".
Wow, way to go out on a limb and use your brain. Essentially, that's like we are discussing a game and making predictions and you say "Well yeah, I think team A might win, but let me wait until I see the final score and then I'll get back to you". :oldlol:

WTF?
Bird never once averaged 30 ppg and 10 rpg. He got 30 (29.9 actually) and 9 one year...but according to you, 9 isn't exactly 10 now is it.
And Bird was usually at 25 ppg and 10 rpg anyway...so i have no clue what u are talking about
Also, MJ's level is not 32/8/8...LOL...he got 8 assists and 8 rebounds per game one season in his whole career. His norm was around 6.5 rebounds and 5 assists.
:facepalm
Lebron is definitely on Jordan's level. That doesn't mean he's better or greater, but he's certainly on the same tier.

Predicting someone is going to win 6 titles and 6 finals MVP's after he manages to win 1 in 3 tries is beyond optimistic. How about we wait until he gets at least 3 titles and 3 finals MVP's (half way) before we start comparing him to the GOAT's?
A more realistic comparison would be Kobe, Magic, or Bird... although he hasn't even reached that level yet. I'll never understand why people feel the need to compare every great player to MJ, while ignoring all the other great players.
Also, MJ's level is not 32/8/8...LOL...he got 8 assists and 8 rebounds per game one season in his whole career.

MJ was a lone all-star in that 1988-1989 team. You put Wade + Bosh, both all-star STARTERS on 1989 Bulls, 4-5 MJ seasons will be 30+ ppg + 10+ rpg or apg DOUBLE DOUBLES!
Respect Nikka. MJ got to 8 / 8 as only All-Star in the line up.
Bird had mchale + Parish. LBJ has Wade + Bosh.
Pippen & grant were still developing in 1989.

MJ also has 9 NBA Scoring Titles. LeBron has 1.
Shut up gengis. Do you really think anyone actually takes you seriously? You and Andgar are the two biggest, stupidest, ****ing Jordan stans on the board. There is a reason I have you ignored...you say NOTHING of merit, EVER.
MJ also has 9 NBA Scoring Titles. LeBron has 1.
10 scoring titles. its 7 straight + retirement + 3 straight.
No one is on Jordan's level. I don't why people keep comparing the two. Lebron is more like Magic Johnson in the way he is an all around player. But he still needs to match the amount of championships as the other greats.

If you put Wade and Bosh on the 88 Bulls, MJ would have less possessions and it's more likely that his stats would go down rather than up.

Scoring isn't even Lebron's best ability.

Have you even seen Wade's ball handling & dribbling ability :facepalm
Wade is the most careless ball handler for SG. He is a 'soft' dribbler & this means he cannot dribble away from his body like Pippen & Jordan who were 'hard' dribblers. :facepalm
He's playing in the weakest era for superstars in history. In a pathetic conference. With by far the most stacked team in the league.
Jordan level my ass. :facepalm
I don't know about being on jordan's level, but to deny how he is just beasting without even busting a sweat is just hating.

I thought you said he was a good player and that would be a reason why MJ would have done better in 88 if Wade was on the 88 Bulls...
...and now you are saying he sucks?

His stamina is whats amazing. He has shoot 3's really good, but he just out hustles you while being a star.
And I dont think he will ever get serious injuries because hes just bionic man.

They are 19-5 against the West. And they've already played OKC twice and LAC last week.

You're right on them, but James is certainly not on Jordan's level.
I wasn't a huge Jordan fan...especially as he beat my team a lot. But there really is no comparing. Michael could do everything at all times...and I don't mean he "could"; I mean he could because he DID.
The closest thing is Magic. Magic is pretty much my favorite player (along with Patrick) but I have to admit Jordan is somewhere else. Lebron is not there.

MJ will still be a primary ball handler with Wade in the line up.
You said MJs touches will go down with Wade in the line up which is not true.
MJ's touches went down because Pippen was a great Point Forward an excellent ball handler & passer.
