Kobe being a top tier clutch player is the greatest myth in basketball history next to the Wilt stories

I honestly feel a little bad comparing the two because it's not even close.
Like comparing the obvious GOAT and a fringe top 15 player, but honestly OP asked for it :confusedshrug:
I felt like the guy in Karate Kid when I was told to sweep the leg. And even though I didn't want to do it I had to. Sorry :(
Hardly surprising. Kobe is a very popular player with a lot of casual fans, and LeBron is rather unpopular. Kobe will smash LeBron in any sort of opinion poll, because his fans will vote for him no matter what. Hell, they could ask "Which player is taller?" and Kobe would still probably get 75% of the vote.

Lebron is probably outside of the top 10 unlike Kobe, but regardless of the stats, Lebron is the least clutch player I have ever seen and every shot I remember him taking in the clutch was a MISS. Look at how he got packed in that NYK game. Weak and soft.

But it might be time to start calling out LeBron for his failures in the clutch. Stretching back to the 2006-07 season, James is just 5-for-47 in the regular season on shots to tie or take the lead in the closing five seconds, according to Basketball-Reference:
That
And that's just ONE criteria.
LeNarrative fans LOVE to crunch clutch numbers that favor their agenda, but clutch time is WAY more than the arbitrary numbers they use.
And THEN you have to take into account that NOTHING in the East, especially in the playoffs, counts for anything. It was all absolutely meaningless due to Bran's cowardice and the league pushing him.
Kobe is DESTROYING him in this poll because even the novice knows a coward from a killer.
If we're playing by your fantasy world rules and LeBron is not top 10 then Kobe is not top 50.
Actually look at the facts. Don't let your emotions take over. I know your heart is set on Kobe but put emotion aside:

Ummm, sorry but it's really not close.
Again, I feel bad beating up on somebody that has no business in this discussion but if you want it here it comes:

Who cares about elimination games in the East?
Who cares about elimination games, period?
Only Bransvestites.
Kobe won 5 titles without team hopping like a coward in the worst conference in NBA history.
Absolutely nothing Bran did in the East is a big accomplishment.
You boys are squealing like girls when Bran hits game winners against putrid teams when he's already up in the series and the score is tied; that's meaningless.
Bran doesn't have a single legit title.
Lebron and Kobe... Both are just top 15-20 guys and I am happy to see comparing them. Much better than seeing people compare them with Jordan.
For the poll my opinion is that, I would prefer Kobe for the clutch. But if I built a super team I would choose Lebron over Kobe.

The poll says otherwise and you Bransvestites love polls and poles.

Lebron's style results in weaker teams, so he goes 7 with weaker teams, hence the better stats
Kobe only goes 7 with great teams, not the 18' pacers and Celtics, to boost his stats
