All star this year?Top ten PF?Top 5 PF?
Dude been playing great and has been the most consistent Warrior the past 3 years. If the Warriors stay like this he should for sure be a All Star this year.

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
Lee is a good player. He had a great game for him. His team won. Congrats to them. But he's not a top PF. He's a good player. White Chris Webber..:facepalm

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
Always think he's been underrated.

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
David Lee has been quietly playing very well in GS. He's not an All Star just because the people he has to battle for that spot, but he is a real good player.
But... never should be in the same breath as Chris Webber.
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
The Golden State Warriors are overachieving this season. I think they will finish as a top 5 team in the Western Conference.

Warriors will finish 5th and Lakers 4th.
Battle of Cali first round.

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
Chris Lee the white Chris Webber?????
That's almost as bad as Faried being the next Rodman.
I swear some of the people just started watching NBA basketball three years ago or something.

OP quoting Shaq here.
But Shaq being stupid. He's kinda an attention whore you know?
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
David Lee is a good player and a likeable player, but white Chris Webber? :facepalm Webber was a 25/12 player in his prime and some have argued he's the best passing big man of all-time. I always liked Lee, but he's no Chris Webber. Not even close.

That explains it. Shaq is an idiot who probably doesn't even believe most of the stuff he says...just an attention whore.

If warriors remain a top 4-5 seed? Allstar for certain.

Even if they're a borderline playoff team, he's probably still an All-Star. He's averaging 16/11/4. That's pretty All-Star worthy.

David has a good inside game, has a reliable jumper, hard worker on the boards and is a terrific passer for a big man.
The similarities are there but he's no CWebb.
Shaq needs to slow his role and shut his mouth sometimes.

Hey just trying to stay above 500 first not thinking about playoffs just yet :oldlol:

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
webber with the kings transformed them into a legit title contender. lee goes to the warriors and they stay the same.
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
Good to see Webber getting some love. That guy was a beast.
In his prime, he was comparable to prime Karl Malone (the year he won MVP over Jordan). Too bad injuries got the best of him. He could of been the greatest PF of all time.

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
A lot of people forget about Lee's 37/20/10 game because the Knicks lost. All in all, I still remember being awe-struck after watching this game.

that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread. Very, very underrated. Although his D is average. :(

Chris Lee?:oldlol: anyways ya shaq said it.

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
CWebb getting criminally underrated in this. Lee's a nice player, but c'mon. Webber's a potential HOFer.
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
great touch for a big guy
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
I view Lee as a more athletic version of Dave Cowens. Which is a great complement. The left hand, motor, rebounding, etc. reminds me of Cowens the most. Webber was a beast who was capable of a triple double every night and peak value wise is a top ten PF of all time. Two different players but both are very skilled big guys, Webber was just more dominant .But D Lee has been a top 10 PF for a few years now. He will likely go down as one of the most underrated PF's of all time.

I hate to say this but the warriors are doomed. They won't ever have a player that makes the all star team. Even Baron Davis didn't get in in any years playing with us. We could be at .600 by AS, and we'll get snubbed again. I won't watch the all star game this year if were winning and don't get in. Imagine by the time the warriors have the downtown water arena and the all star game is there and were winning and still don't have an all star. Just really sad. But the warriors haven't had an all star since latrell sprewell since 97. sad.

Larry Bird burned his legs from spilt morning coffee when he read that.
Bill Russell gonna give back his medal of freedom in protest.
LeBron James wants to know what that was.
That earthquake which just broke off Los Angeles right into the salt sea, that is Wilt Chamberlain rolling over in his slumber checking to see who else was ever a non-guard assists leader for a season.
KG is wanting to get a fight just to see what people would say who won.
Dave Cowens already fighting the whole Knicks roster about it, DeBusschere, Bradley, Lucas all ganging right up on him and getting their licks in too.
But they're all lookin at this and

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
I really don't get that comparison other than that they were both on the warriors ...
lee's a lunch pail guy who's efficient and doesn't try to do too much. webber was always very flashy (and sometimes extremely inefficient for a big man)
-
Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
GOAT Bigman passer

Re: David "The White Chris Webber" Lee
Cowens was quite athletic if I recall and Cowens was an excellent defender. So I would not put Lee up there with Cowens, but I guess you can make some slight comparisons.
