The Heat big 3 were in their prime. Two old fossils in Malone and Payton were role players, not stars

Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh both hit their prime/peak in 2009.

They were also as "washed up" as Malone and Payton.

Heck, replace Wade and Bosh with the same Malone and Payton and Lebron will be looking at his 4th ring this season.

That STACKED team should have won even without Malone.

How can lebron win with a declning payton and a injured malone in the 2011 finals?

Yes there is no doubt about that. But the heat had all of their players uninjured while Malone was on the injury list. BIG difference there.

He was held down by Wade that series.

Payton would have been the PERFECT support for Lebron with his defense and playmaking. He would allow Lebron to be Lebron and clinch the series.

When Lebron recruited both of them, they were declining.
