6/7/2 on 2-5 shooting (2-2 from 3)

14/14/2 with 1 steal and 1 block on 6-10 shooting (1-1 from 3) and 1-2 on FT's

12/8/0 with 2 blocks on 6-13 shooting (0-1 from 3)

He's a really nice player. Got good skill too.

He's Jordan Hill's protege. :oldlol:

He's different than Hill though, more versatile. Hill is a banger, and per minute was the best offensive rebounder in the NBA until he got hurt (Clark is a good rebounder too, but Hill is an incredible rebounder). He's obviously got some range, too. Wonder why he took so long to get going, some players need time I suppose. He didn't get too much of a chance before either, but he didn't do much in his minutes before this year. Good in college though, I think he was a lottery pick.

Dude's been impressive. A good guy to have coming off the bench.

Oh, I know. Just kidding around with the "protege" stuff, or Hill with range and handles. :oldlol:

Like anything in the NBA, sometimes it's the situation that gets you a break. Same thing happened to Hill during the OKC game last season. Couldn't find an energy player and the bench was garbage; so Hill comes in, gets offensive rebounds, scorers, plays defense, and he's in Mike Brown's good book. There were injuries with Howard and D'Antoni did like Clark (as opposed to Hill) and proved he can give them some 20/10 nights.

Wish I could see a Hill and Clark tandem at times for the Lakers when I catch them, but Hill is out for the season. :(

He's only 25 too, he might've saved his career with his play. If we can't keep him he'll earn a nice contract from someone else.

Re: Earl Clark

On this OLD azz team he looks like a freakin ALL STAR. :oldlol: That's because he's the only one that can still dive for loose balls without getting hurt and be out the whole season. Pau and Dwight can't be doing that after their injuries and age. Kobe aint, Metta packed on muscles but he's getting old too. Nash is brittle as hell after that knee surgery.

So he's playing well bc of the other Lakers are old and because he can dive for a loose ball?

That's a nice young frontcourt if we can retain all 3 of them, which I hope we do.
