No Mo' Mo Money???? :(
Sounds like it might be serious. Shooting thumb. Needed surgery for torn ligaments on it before.
Williams underwent offseason surgery for a torn ligament in his right thumb in 2008, and went six weeks without participating in basketball activities.
He says it feels the same this time.
They have not signed anyone since waiving injured Josh Howard on Thursday and will continue auditions after Christmas before they sign a free agent such as former Wolves forward Lazar Hayward, James Anderson, Shaun Livingston or perhaps find a way to get Raja Bell out of exile in Utah in their search to find a wing player, preferably one who can defend. "If you're going to add somebody, you need to add somebody who will have a legitimate chance to help you," Adelman said. "Just to bring a body in ... I'm probably not going to play him, unless we have another injury. We'll play the guys we have." Minneapolis Star-Tribune

When 7-foot-4 Mark Eaton walks into a room, everybody
notices. When the former Jazz center walks into the practice facility carrying
basketball shoes, well, that's pretty noticeable, too.
Such was the case Thursday morning when Eaton showed
up when reporters were about to exit.
Eaton, now a motivational speaker, explained that he
was there to give pointers to Jazz center Enes Kanter after practice and that he
liked to help out when he can.

Not sure what Eaton could teach other than holding your arms up in the air. :confusedshrug:

But I can't imagine any scenario where the Jazz would give up any of those assets for Cousins. They care a lot about both character and chemistry. They aren't the type of team that will take the risk? Boston? For sure they would. Dallas? They would too. Just not Utah. The Jazz are carrying a maximum 15 players, including exiled Raja Bell and D-League assignee Kevin Murphy, so they'd have to waive or trade someone to bring in another point guard.
