How many games they under .500? Four?
:violin:
theres a complaint about the heat in every aspect. If they win, then its because the ref's favor D-whistle, if they lose, they are a disgrace.

it's only the truth

don't get it twisted.
just glad they ain't gonna win another title
just glad they ain't gonna win another title
are you so sure? think about it before you commit... they can easily make the playoffs and with shaq back they are the best team in the east

:oldlol: Exactly man, and konehead most of the time leads the pack with all those cries...
How do you know they aren't going to win another title? They are in the East, They are for sure in the playoffs. D-Wade and Shaq start killin in the playoffs and meet the mavs/suns or whoever else, They can win it again.

They have a shot to win the east but it would be hard to beat the western conference champ.
That's what everyone was saying last year. Miami still has the same team basically. I can see them making a run still.
It's D-Wade come on now, Kobe vs Wade in Finals = Amazing.
if the suns meet miami, heat are getting killed
if the suns meet miami, heat are getting killed
If Heat meet Lakers, Lakers are getting killed
the lakers nor the suns are meeting anyone in the finals. They wont beat the mavs.
If Heat meet Lakers, Lakers are getting killed
 Lakers 26-15 in the West, Miami 18-22 in the East. Heat are done.

Difference is they are all a year older, didn't add any new talent in the off-season and Shaq is really no more than a 13 and 7 guy anymore. Other top teams improved.
They have a shot to win the east of course but I expect the Pistons to beat them this time.

:oldlol: Yeah, ok. Comfort yourself if you must...
This years Eastern Conference playoffs is going to be fun to watch. Last Year i knew miami would come out no matter what. Shaq is more of a 13 and 7 player though.
Miami, Detroit and Chicago are going to be interesting to see who makes it out. I wouldn't count the Cavs or Washington out.
I actually think The Wizards and Cavs are going to make noise. Gilbo and LeBron, Hope they have another one of those series.
East is a Toss up. Anyone can beat anyone.
the final playoff brackets are not definitive at all at this point.
the Nets are freaking 4 games out of 1st seed in the East. that is how bad the East is.
The Heat are dissapointing so far....
But when Shaq gets back they should make a strong push in the playoffs.
They are an old veteran team...slow start but I have a good feelingthey will finish off real strong.
Lakers are 26-15 and like 2-8 against bottom feeders....makes me sick.
You can't Predict who's going to win the East this year. It's not only Early but injuries are happening. Who knows how good the Heat will be when shaq gets back.
Everything thought the magic were going to be the best because they got off to that early lead and look at them now, struggling. They are playing horrible basketball.
It's to early to Judge Miami. Cleveland, Magic, Detroit, Miami, Chicago and Washington. One of them is winning the East and you can't guess it now.
Lakers are 26-15 and like 2-8 against bottom feeders....makes me sick.
Well...this is kind of the way Phil Jackson teams work. Why...I have no idea.
The East........
The Atlantic division........
:(
Embarssing!!!!!!!!!

Hense why Lakers are just a very good team not a legit threat for the title yet.
Wade was playing with sore ankle. I can't remeber wade ever being healthy more than 35 games. he plays through a lot of pain from all that falling down, but with wade and Shaq on the floor the can be right back in the Finals. Dallas looked scared as hell down the stretch. They won, but they looked scared. Miami- Dallas in the finals, I'm betting on the repeat.

Agreed
Even with Lamar I think the numbers would still be about the same.

Looked scared yet still made big time plays and stops? doesn't make much sense. Miami will not win the east, nevermind repeat. If by some chance the two teams do meet in the finals again, no way in hell do Miami beat Dallas again.
you guys need to quit the whole "they're in the East, of course they'll win a title!" charade. who is in the East? oh thats right the Wizards, aka the best team in the WORLD. Heat are through. sorry.

that wasn't a quality post. A 3 game losing streak in the East can put you out the playoffs. A 3 game win streak can give you the number one seed. Depending where you are now.
last year the Heat were awful against the best teams in the L. it didn't matter.
you get hot in the playoffs, you can do some damage.

When it comes down to it. Who in the East won't the Heat be favored in a 7-game series? I would favor the Heat in any of them.
Beating the Mav's who will come out the West is a different story. I think they Beat Cav's or Pistons in 6 in ECF's. Lose to the Mav's in 6 in the Finals.
The Pistons can win the series but they won't. They can't guard Wade at all & that was with Ben Wallace.

Only reason pistons lost to Heat last year was they were burnt out for the playoffs after playing so hard in the regular season. That shouldn't be the case this year. The Pistons now won't be playing 4 on 5 eveyr offense now either. With Ben gone and Webber in, the Pistons have 5 legit guys who can score. something that didn't happen in the starting 5 last season in the playoffs.
Defense wasn't the problem in that series, offense was. Depending who the pistons get for Nazr, the Pistons should beat the Heat. This time around It will be different. Different situation
DIdnt you fools learn your lesson last season? Regular season dont mean jack, Miami will win when it matters...

Offense was a problem but the only way the Piston beat the Heat is with stops. Subing Webber for Wallace doesn't help that one bit.
Wade abused the Pistons 2 years in a row. That isn't going to change. I think the Pistons will score more & still lose in 6.
The Pistons even bring 2000 flashbacks out of Shaq. He averaged 22.5 & 11rebs in that series.
He has to be laughing his a@@ off at the thought of Webber guarding him.

Webber's defense isn't anywhere near as bad as tyou make It out to be. The way Flip coaches defense is he plays alot of zone so what Webber does defensively won't be too bad.
Yeah Wade will score alot, he does against whoever. The Pistons have more weapons than the Heat this season. Only reason they lost to them last year was they tired out.
You say Shaq will be laughing at Webber guarding him but who does Shaq guard? who It is they will be laughing also. Webber will have whatever he wants If Shaq is forced to guard him. Works both ways.
Shaq is seriously on the decline, I don't see him dominating anymore. Pistons are younger, have a deeper bench than a year ago and actually have a guy who can score with all the forward positions.
Heat need to add some talent otherwise I don't see them advancing.
DIdnt you fools learn your lesson last season? Regular season dont mean jack, Miami will win when it matters...
Every defending champion's fans always use that theory. It's idiotic.
DIdnt you fools learn your lesson last season? Regular season dont mean jack, Miami will win when it matters...
moreover, you actually have to qualify for the playoffs before you can use this logic.
Heat should not get too complacent with the Shaq cures all tonic. it may backfire.
These guys are as good as anybody when they want to play. No excuse for having such a poor record in the EC. Shaq or no Shaq...
soon to be three time champs
