the funny thing is the Big Ten teams this year that are contender might just beat up on each other so much during conference play, they will probably burn out in the tournament. :lol
and you forgot about Morris Peterson

I hope their sort of mini resurgence continues and the Big 10 actually adds another good bball program to the conference....but that title will never be the Big 10's to claim...I know you're joking though.

While burning out may be a legitimate factor, I don't think the fact that the Big 10 having 3-4 teams with legit title hopes makes it more of a disappointment if one of them doesn't win it. Doesn't make Duke, Kansas, Louisville, etc. have any less of a shot. If you do away with conference affiliation and just line all the times up, you wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of experts picked teams outside of the Big 10 to win it. You have to win 6 games with a bit of luck along the way (even if you have an all decade team).
I think I would have rather seen Pitt join the Big 10. We would fit in as a research university, add another good bball team to the conference, and renew the PSU rivalry. We would get ****ing smacked every year in football but nobody really cares anymore.
Im hearing that UConn is probably going to end up in the big 10 at some point, that would be amazing...
Wow...Tim Hardaway Jr.'s got some huge stones. The hell was Wisconsin thinking, though? They had 3 fouls to give and don't use any of them.
Maryland is squarely on the bubble after their hot start. They beat up on a bunch of scrubs and only have the NCSU win to claim to. Most of their OOC wins are against sub-.500 midmajor teams.
And, really, how good will that win look at the end of the year if NCSU keeps losing? They have dropped all the way down to 7th in the ACC. They should be on the bubble as well, imo.
Maryland's recruiting is just decent. Brought in a solid class last season and had a chance to make noise with the Harrison twins, but that was a long shot. Now they have 40-60 PG and some unranked kid.
I also still question Turgeon as a coach.
I don't see the hype. :confusedshrug:
Hardaway from 3 with 3 seconds left. That kid can play...
huge 3 by hardaway to break the tie with like 2 secs left. wisconsin had 3 fouls to give, and didnt use even one of them though
:wtf:
wow tim hardaway jr with a huge 3 with 2.4 seconds left to give michigan the lead!
and then someone on wisconsin tied it with a 3 from halfcourt!!! WTF!!!

Did that seriously just happen?
Haha, crazy way to end regulation.
And holy hell...Wisconsin just hits a game tying three from halfcourt as time expired.
