With KD, it
When they get down by 15 or 20, it’s hard for them to comeback with KD. But today they came back from down 18. With KD there, the brand of ball they play isn’t as good. It’s not as free. Even Green isn’t as good with KD there.
KD is just a good insurance against teams that already match up well with the Warriors. But overall he doesn’t make them better, he’s just a weapon against specific teams. 30-1 in the last 31 games without him.
There’s a high chance the Warriors would have lost to the Rockets if KD played. Last year the Warriors would have probably beat the Rockets in 5 if KD didn’t play.
The stats are there for you folks. This isn’t controversial.

What about blowing leads?
They blew a 3 - 1 lead without KD...

Re: With KD, it
The Warriors are very capable of making comebacks with KD (e.g. 50 point quarter vs. Clippers in 2017, Game 1 WCF 2017 vs. Spurs). In previous seasons they did so often. It's only in this season that they haven't done it with the regularity they did so before. The OP might have a point though for this season. KD tends to have a lower gear in the regular season. Draymond too this last season. Klay was in a bit of a slump. The multiple deep playoff runs might have contributed to it.

Re: With KD, it
I just don't understand how the West is so tough, yet a team is steamrolling through easy peasy without two of their best players. One being the apparent best player in the league.
Can anyone else show me a time when a team went through the playoffs without their two best players and made it comfortably to the finals?

Re: With KD, it
People are scared to say it but Durant is just another one dimensional scorer like Carmelo Anthony or Adrian Dantley
Every elite two-way SF is better than him; Kawhi, Jimmy Butler, Giannis, Paul George
Difference is he puts up great stats so league rigs games for his team, making him look better than he really is.

Was there ever a time a team couldn't sweep a single team until they went to the finals and swept only that team?
Other than Cavs in 2018, when has that happened before?

Yes, that has happened before. The Cavs didn't do that. But continue.
Now can you answer my question?
