WOW!!! Brendan Haywood is sliding. Lost against Serge Ibaka (was 0/3) before this tip ball.
i have a theory that the jump ball is the most important aspect of the game. if you win the jump ball, u win the game.
the reason is because by winning the jump ball, the team gains tremendous confidence. winning a jump ball is known to feel the same as hitting a game-winning shot. the losing team receives a shock that will traumatize them throughout the game, which is not possible to recover from, within 24 hours of the jump tip.
it would be great if u did a correlation between won jump ball and won games, i'm sure my theory will be supported.
Winning the jump ball is overrated.
