seriously how hard is it? All you gotta do is just back down your defender with your back until you get close to the basket and lay it in.
Chris Bosh complains about how he can't do it because he's too weak. I don't get it

Because its the nba?
And its not that player's can't post up (most of the time), its that the coach usually has a system that doesn't utilize post ups
Some of the entry passing is putrid too.
It was the number one thing for a non-star PG fifteen years ago. Now guys can't even do it. :oldlol:
It's a weak era. That's why.
Al Jefferson.
Al Jefferson
the good big men are super skinny like davis and can't back anyone up. or, if they have the size like love, they prefer to shoot jumpers.
just a diff era, is all
i mean, 90s you have hakeem, robinson, ewing, etc. today, hibbert is an all star. this dude would be a backup in the 90s
You would think Hibbert would have a hook shot from anywhere in the paint and never miss... Being 7'2" and all
Easiest shot in basketball besides a layup. 4 ft from the basket.

Hibbert misses shots under the basket, what makes you think he can hook shot anything. :facepalm
There are a few that are pretty good at posting up, although maybe not that many: Nikola Pekovic, Marc Gasol, Al Jefferson, Al Horford, Nene, Demarcus Cousins, Dwight, Z-Bo off the top of my head.
All of them play inside for at least half their offense, and are pretty good at it. However, if you are trying to say that there are few elite big men these days, I agree.
The word nobody is an exaggeration. Al Jefferson, ZBo, P. Gasol. See Duncan in the playoffs vs Ibaka, Haslem.

That's my point.
How hard is it to go in the gym and put up 500 hook shots a day. By end of the summer it should be damn near automatic.

Have you ever played basketball before? Not on your playstation. In real life?
Watch Lebron James.
Even lebron and wade, two of the most watched players, post up. Lol@easy to post up.
