Re: How could the "goat" team up with a player this much better than Kobe.. and lose?
Because Wade's game is physically taxing. Dude was a slasher with no fear going to the cup.
Athleticism, speed and strong cuts.
He also played consistent defense. Unlike Kobe.
So he relied more on his athleticism and was less skilled than Kobe? Kobe went through knee and shoulder injuries/surgeries before he even hit his prime and won B2B titles as the FMVP on one leg and with a broken index finger on his shooting hand at the same age.
Re: How could the "goat" team up with a player this much better than Kobe.. and lose?
It's crazy people think Bran is better than Kobe when Bran ran to a man that arguably had a better peak than Kobe.
So Kobe won with a Bosh type player WITHOUT a player that arguably peaked higher than him.
Too easy.
The only way this can be countered is with delusion.

I love you.
MJ won many times when his sidekick stunk it up, while Lebron didn't - that's the difference
Do I need to post the long list of Pippen's horrible series again???... MJ won nearly all of them, while lebron loses most of them and then complains with his fans... So he's nowhere near goat
LeBron won the 2011 ECF and the entire 2013 playoffs with Wade struggling :confusedshrug:

That Wade vs Kobe thread made you so insecure lmao

Pretty sure Lebron lost the 2011 Finals with Wade playing some of his best basketball.

Kobe is one of the most skilled players of all time.
Wade also played thru a number of injuries.
What is your point exactly?

Pretty sure Kobe lost the 2004 finals with Shaq playing some of his best basketball.
Re: How could the "goat" team up with a player this much better than Kobe.. and lose?
If only you combined
Wade’s slashing, fearlessness, quickness, finishing ability, shot blocking and off ball defensive abilities
with
Kobe’s jumper, foot work, post game, competitiveness, and on ball defense.
That player would be the god damn GOAT. Especially if they were even more athletic, smarter, better leader, better winner, physically more durable and even more competitive.
Wait, that’s Michael Jordan.

2004 was actually Shaq's worst out of the 4 they played together while Wade's 2011 Finals was his 2nd best.

He shot 63.1%. He could have averaged way more if HogBe gave him the ball.
2013? Wade was only 31? How is a 31 y.o Wade not better than 17th season Kobe? Something doesn't add up here.
It's called being hurt? During their win streak he was absolutely dominating and regularly the best player on the team and clearly more impactful than Kobe was that season. He, course, would hurt his knee, though, and play that entire playoffs hurt.

You mean the series where Lebron's 3rd option (Bosh) averaged more than Pippen ever did?
2011 ECF
Lebron - 26/8/7 on 44%.. +3.0 in 4th
C Bosh - 23/8/2 on 60%.. +4.2 in 4th
You can't forget his 3rd options when arguing for Bron - if Wade takes the series off, he still has another monster scorer to fall back on if he uses him appropriately
And again - Wade took the weak Eastern playoffs lighter, and turned it up in the Finals (20/4/5 on 48% - so better than Pippen's typical series)
What a luxury to have 2 monster scorers to fall back on, and both top-flight athletes and excellent defenders

:oldlol: Wade might have been the best player for like 5 games out of their 27 game win streak. Meanwhile Kobe dragged a bunch of injured, malcontent bums to the playoffs. Kobe was better that season and it's not even close.

Lol what?
I love Dwyane Wade, and his 2013 is very underrated. And yes he was crazy efficient, quality defender, and very good in 2013 during their huge winning stretch.
But did you just call him the best and most impactful player on the floor for the Heat? LOL
This was possibly and arguably LeBron
