Re: The Rockets bench...
Honestly, is the Bucks bench better than the Rockets bench? I think the starters are gonna be Knight/Middleton/Giannis/Jabari/Sanders...which leaves the bench as:
Kendall Marshall / Nate Wolters
Jerryd Bayless / OJ Mayo
Jared Dudley
Ersan Ilyasova
John Henson / Zaza Pachulia
:confusedshrug:
That bench is actually really good.

Solid bench. Especially if OJ Mayo stays healthy this season.

tarik black, Mr. Foul. Joey Dorsey, ancestor to Mr. Foul.
That's all I got. Memphis Tigers basketball is frustrating. Thank Dickerson the Grizzlies got good.
Luckily Lin won't be there this year to single handedly cost them playoffs games with retarded bone head plays
Or bail harden out in game 2 and win game five for them.

Re: The Rockets bench...
Can't find any gifs of Harden's blown defensive rotation because there hasn't been any?
Let's make a Rockets hate thread.
Actual bench:
Canaan
Garcia
K-Pop
Motiejunas
Dorsey
You got 2/5 of our bench player correct. Protip: If you are going to hate, at least get the bench rotation right.
I looked up the Rockets depth chart and that's what it said :confusedshrug:
Regardless, that bench is not good. It's not "hate", it's an honest observation. The Rocket are thin. Period.

47, which isn't good enough to make the playoffs in the West.

Re: The Rockets bench...
Perennial first round exit for years to come...at least until they get rid of McHale. They could be the 86 Celtics and McHale would find a way to lose in the first round. Good thing he wasn't coaching them at the time.
Or until they land another FA in the offseason. They're not keeping all that cap flexibility for nothing.
They'll still make the playoffs, with a really, really outside chance of making it to the second round depending on their opponent, but last years team wasnt much better. Only difference between last year and this year, is Houston has lots of money to throw around. Their record will still be similar, their playoff performance will probably be similar.

Their over/under per Vegas is 49.5. Bet the house and win some money :lol
Dont think youd have it in you. I know I wouldnt.

I can respect your opinion. As a Rockets fan, Im gonna have to say that they'll win around 50-52 games this season. At the end of the day, our success all depends on the health of the team.

Yeah what they really need to do is stop settling for guys who have zero long term future with the team, old, declining vets like Lebron, Melo or Bosh...they need to really go for it and try to sign a bonafide star like Jason Terry or Trevor Ariza.

Re: The Rockets bench...
Who cares about their bench? Those are just role players. It's all about Dwight and Harden.
I'm gonna be super excited to see these F-heads fail.

I must be the only nick Johnson and motiejunas believer.

Re: The Rockets bench...
Most unlikable team, built in the image of a general manager who has a strategy with no human principle behind it. His stat nerdiness resulted in him acquiring as his stars the two nerdiest NBA elites with the same flaws as himself: a lack of spirit and honor. There's gotta be a soul driving the machine and there's not one in Houston.

Re: The Rockets bench...
I didn't know it was this bad
Isaiah Canaan
Jason Terry
Francisco Garcia
Jeff Adrian
Joey Dorsey
Worst bench in the league? I don't see how they make the playoffs in a historically stacked conference with such bad depth.
Well it's Morey's fault. He coulda signed some much better players for the same price he's paying these bums. I think Kostas Papanikolaou is going to be a really good role player though, and I think Isaiah Canaan's ceiling is at least another Aaron Brooks type of point guard.
